If I want to see the hierarchy of sub-project task groups in a perspective, I have to choose Entire Projects under “Group and sort” in the perspective setup — but then I’m in “project mode” and can’t use tags to filter visible actions on the fly. (I can add filter rules in the perspective setup, but that’s too clumsy for continual use.) If I group and sort by Individual Actions I get the tags but no task groups. I don’t suppose there’s currently any way to square that particular circle?
I’m having this problem too. It’s infuriating. Because then the tag view is filtered with all these out-of-context subtasks when I just want to collapse them and deal with the parent. Or even just know which parent they belong to.
Even just a way to show what a subtask’s parent’s name is would help!
