Text box resize isn’t working consistently?

I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong, but something as simple as:

  1. Create new Rectangle
  2. Select ‘resize’ in the text box options
  3. Enter a few lines of text

Results in the text overflowing the box.

I have to manually press ‘clip’ or ‘overflow’ and then select ‘resize’ again for it to properly resize to the text within. Sometimes it works on the first try, but very inconsistently after that, especially if the item is duplicated.

I am on OmniGraffle 3.5 on an 10.5” iPad Pro running OS 11.3

Thank you for the clear steps to reproduce this issue. I can recreate this bug in house. The resize setting isn’t be retained on duplicate or on copy/paste. Oddly, the Overflow and Clip options are retained as are every other text option. Resize is the only option that isn’t being kept.

If you copy object style, you should be able to select all of the text items and paste object style as a workaround at the end. I’m sorry about the inconvenience.

Ok thank you, I’m glad to know it’s not just me. The same document works perfectly on desktop.
