My university now offers free Creative Cloud accounts for staff so my questions are…
What can I do in the new version of Pro that I can’t do using one or more adobe apps?
Even if I could do it all with the adobe apps, are there inherent advantages with OG either because the functionality is superior and/or because it would require more than one adobe app to get the same result?
For me the main difference is TIME. I think I could do everything I accomplish in OG Pro with Illustrator, but it would take me much longer and would be a much less pleasant experience. If staff all work for free then this might not matter. :) But I’ll assume they are getting paid, and to me the lost/additional time using Illustrator would easily pay for OG PRO in the first day or two, certainly the first week.
