Am I losing my marbles, or has the menu bar item to check for updated versions disappeared? I can’t see it in the File menu, where it used to be, or in the Help menu
Did you install OmniFocus from the Mac App Store? If so, you would need to go to the App Store to update OmniFocus.
I did, of course…so I went to the App Store and updated to 4.8.3. Sorry to waste your time (I also use OmniGraffle and OmniOutliner, both of which I update from the File menu). Sorry to waste your time

It’s kind of a pain when some apps are App Store and some are direct download for this very reason. App Store apps are sometimes a bit slower to update too. So I’ve been slowly replacing App Store versions with direct download versions whenever possible. Just replaced omnifocus App Store version with direct download last week!
