What is the best way to add a new item within a project?

I have 4 projects (folders): Personal, Work, Parents and Temp.

Let’s say I have an existing item (project) in personal such as “sell house”. I want to add a sub-item such as “call realtor”.

When I do that, and assign project “sell house”, , “call realtor” does not move out of the inbox. So I’ve had to convert “call realtor” to a project, then convert back to action (which puts it in misc project), then reassign to “sell house”…then it’s ok, where I wanted it, and out of inbox.

I must be missing a basic step here…Have had this problem since starting to use OF3 in iOS for a year.

Some ideas:

• Have you set OF to clean up your inbox with a project? Or a tag? Or with both a project and a tag? That might indicate why it does not move out of the inbox.
  It might be that it is set to with a tag, and you don’s assign one.

• Have you set OF to only clean up if you switch perspectives? (or refresh)
  That might indicate why it does not move out of the inbox.

Thanks. I think you got it. I’ll change the setting for cleanup to “either a project or a tag”, and “immediately”… Bet that will fix it.
