Where should scripts reside?

If OO5 is open on my Mac, and I click on the Scripts icon in my Menu bar, and then click on Open Scripts Folder, the choice I get is “Open OmniOutliner Scripts folder”. This folder (~\Library\Scripts\Applications\OmniOutliner) is empty.

I do have scripts in two other folders: ~\Library\Scripts\Application Scripts\com.omnigroup.OmniOutliner5, and ~\Library\Scripts\Application Scripts\com.omnigroup.OmniOutliner5.MacAppStore

If I want all my scripts to show up when I’m using OO< is the simplest thing to just move all those scripts into the now-empty ~\Library\Scripts\Applications\OmniOutliner folder?

Did you happen to install both App Store and non-App Store versions ?

This is the standard reference for this practice:

Adding Application-Specific Scripts to the Script Menu

Application-specific scripts are only visible in the script menu when a specific app is in the front.

To add application-specific scripts to the script menu, save them into the ~/Library/Scripts/Applications/«ApplicationName» folder in your user directory or the /Library/Scripts/Applications/«ApplicationName» folder on your Mac. For quick access to this folder, bring the app to the front, then select Open Scripts Folder > Open «ApplicationName» Scripts Folder from the script menu. When you do this, a folder for the application is automatically created if it doesn’t already exist.
