Forecast widget Past/Today inconsistency

Which tasks is the Forecast widget supposed to lead with: Past or Today items? There seems to be a mix across my devices, and things have even changed from time to time on a single device. I don’t see a configuration option for it. For me, it is MUCH more useful to show the Today items and not misc Past stuff that I’m continuing to neglect.

I believe this same issue was raised early this year, but that thread didn’t get any replies so I’m giving the topic of fresh bump: Forecast Widget showing different things on iPhone vs. iPad

You’re better contacting the Support team directly from within Omnifocus.

The Omni team don’t routinely review the forums to support people (although they pop in sometimes) the Forum is more for users to help each other.

You can go to the Help Menu in the macOS app or on iOS or iPadOS go to the three dots in the top right, hit “Help” and then “Contact Omni"

Yes, I recently opened a ticket with them. They directed me to add a perspective-focused widget, but didn’t really address why Past or Today items are variously shown.

This even flipped for me today, during the day, and I’m really hoping someone has figured out the pattern for why one or the other is shown.
