Tab to Tag Field Sometimes Fails

Normally this works just fine but occasionally there is a problem. I’ll be adding an item in the Forecast perspective. I’ll enter a Title, tab, enter a Project, tab … whoops. Why am I in the Due field? The Tag field is next but I can’t tab there. This happens, I’m guessing, about 15% of the time. The rest of the time when I tab out of the Project field I end up just where I expect, the Tag field. Tabbing seems to skip over some fields

I’m using Big Sur (OS 11.6) and Omnifocus 3.12.2. When I moved to this computer from my previous one, which used OS 10.15.7, I noticed a change in how the TABS work in Omnifocus. I really liked how I could tab through the fields on my main Omni screen. In my case, I show both the deferred date and due date, among other fields.
