Wishing to define "Due Soon" as today!

Ken,

Is there any update on the implementation of “Due Soon” as Today? Can I assume this will go live both in the OS X and iOS versions?

Brian

The most recent update of OmniFocus 2 for Mac sets it to Today.

OmniFocus 2 for iOS does not have this setting yet but it should be coming soon.

I checked for updates just now and it tells me I have the newest OmniFocus 2 running on my Mac (2.3.1) and there is definitely no ‘Today’ option.
Or is this a feature you have to enable first via some hidden url?

There is a preference to check for test builds of OmniFocus beta. I’m using my ipad right now. I will have to return to my office tomorrow to see the checkbox to check for test builds.

But you can always download the test builds here

Yeah, this is my point. I have the OS X test build and it’s there, but when Ken announced on November 1 that it would be coming out “later this month,” I’d assumed it would be out for the masses (and hopefully iOS, too) by the end of November, not just for those testing.

Wilsonng: Are you using the iOS test builds? Is it there in iOS?

Sorry for the delay on these updates! We were on track to release in November but it took a couple of tries to get through App Store Review (and we didn’t feel comfortable with a non-simultaneous release). That’s been cleared up and we’ll be releasing OmniFocus 2.10 for iOS and 2.4 for Mac on Monday the 7th.

We won’t be adding any more people before Monday, but we did have TestFlight builds of 2.10 available for most of the month. If you’re interested in getting in on future iOS tests, you can sign up here:

Thanks for the update guys! It works really nice!

Agreed. It’s a seemingly small thing, but it makes a really big difference in my workflow.

Yes, this is huge. Second only to adding tagging in OF.
